SQL Server – Cannot connect to server problem

SQL server is widely used for database storage purposes.

But what if you cannot connect to your SQL server even while providing the correct username and password?

The error message you get is somewhat like this given below:

Well there’s a solution to this problem.

The steps to fix this problem are as follows:
Step 1: Launch the Run command. The Run Command Dialog Box opens up. Type services.msc
Step 2: The Services dialog box opens up
Step 3: Search for SQL Server (MSSQL SERVER) in Services
Step 4: Right click on SQL Server (MSSQL SERVER) and select Start
Step 5: You will see the Server starting
Step 6: The Services has started. You can see it Running in the Status Column
Step 7: Open SQL Management Studio and enter your Username and Password in the Server Authentication Dialog Box.
Step 8: Voila!!! Your SQL Server has started working again!!!
